Black Bean Protein Burger
These plant-based burgers are a great alternative to meat or highly processed store-bought veggie burgers.

Ingredients
Part One:
- 2 Flax Eggs (see notes)
- 1/2 Cup Black Beans
- 7 Tbsp Sacha Inchi Protein Powder (or plain plant protein powder of choice)
- 2-3 Cloves Garlic
- 2 Tsp Cumin
- 2 Tsp Chipotle Powder
- 1 Tsp Paprika
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
Part Two:
- 2 Tbsp Red Onion, Chopped
- 1/4 Cup Black Beans
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375 Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Put all ingredients listed in part one in a blender and blend until spices are mixed throughout (it’s ok if the mixture is chunky).

Add ingredients from part two to the blender and pulse briefly (5-10 seconds).

Remove dough from blender and form four patties with your hands and place on the baking sheet.

Bake for 25-30 minutes.
Notes
- To make two flax eggs mix 2 tbsp flaxseed meal with 6 tbsp of water and let it thicken for 15 minutes.
- These burgers are great on a bed of greens topped with my Spicy Mango Dressing.
