Healthy Basil Pesto Sauce
With the use of green peas and avocado this Basil Pesto is creamy and low in fat but still rich in flavor! I recommend trying it on spiralized vegetables, sandwiches, or chicken.

Ingredients
- 1 Cup Basil (packed and not chopped)
- 1/4 Cup Green Peas
- 1/4 Cup Avocado
- 3 Tbsp Parsley (not chopped)
- 1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1/2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 Tsp Fresh Minced Garlic
- 1/4 Tsp Salt
- 1/8 Tsp Black Pepper
Instructions

Put all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Add additional salt and pepper to taste and you're done!
Notes
- If you like a cheesy taste in your pesto try adding 2 tbsp of nutritional yeast.
